CHASE ELLIOTT IS THE MILLION BOY AT CHARLOTTE

Chase Elliott won the Nike All Star race and won a million dollars after holding the lead on the last lap.

TEAMMATE WIPEOUT IN ALL STAR RACE

Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth got together in turn 1 of the first lap of Stage 3 and both went to the wall. Everyone did their job to dodge the wreck.

They were battling for the fourth spot when Kenseth got loose on the inside and got on the 18.

HARVICK GETS WRECKED BY DALE JR IN ALL STAR RACE

Kevin Harvick got touched in turn 1 by Dale Jr and went directly against the outside wall.

Harvick was eliminated on Stage 2 with McMurray and Bayne.

But it wasn't Dale's fault, the 18 got sideways on the bottom, clipped the 88, who got the 4 car sideqays.

JOEY LOGANO WRECKS IN ALL STAR RACE, ELIMINATED ON STAGE 1


Joey Logano slides through the grass after a contact with Blaney and got his front-end of the car destroyed.

Blaney and Logano were battling for fourth spot, but Joey didn't see him and kept coming down through the short chute and got spun out, sliding by through the grass.

DANICA PATRICK WINS FAN VOTE

Danica Patrick earned 2 votes, enough for getting the fan vote award for the first time. Ragan and Menard also got two votes, but Danica is 19th on the championship, Menard 21st and Ragan is 28th.

KAHNE, SUAREZ, BAYNE AND JONES TO THE ALL STAR RACE

This Sunday, the Nike Showdown got underway and Kahne won it. Bayne was second after an awesome last-lap battle with Kahne, Jones was third and Suarez fourth, after wrecking after the checkers.

The fan vote candidates are: the numbers 3,10,27,34,31,43,47 and 17.

MEDICAL UPDATE ON CHRIS BUESCHER'S HEALTH STATUS

Chris Buescher got involved in a wreck early in the Talladega race, with Suarez, Menard, Dillon.

The Alabama Hospital announced that Buescher has a knee injury and will miss around 3 races.

Front Row Motorsports announced that David Ragan is gonna get back on the 34 seat at those 3 weeks.

NIKE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SERIES

Is not Non-Sponsored Cup Series anymore.
Next year, Nike announced that they are gonna be the first and main sponsor of the series.

But wait, this year is still the non sponsored cup series, Nike is gonna enter on the series next year.

ARIC ALMIROLA WINS WRECK-FILLED RACE AT TALLADEGA



Aric Almirola(33) won his first cup race on his third try.

"Never felt so good" said Almirola in Victory Lane.

Stenhouse Jr was the leader at the exit of turn 4 at the last lap followed by Logano. Joey tried to make a move on the 17 on the bottom, but Stenhouse tried to block and got around. Almirola passed both of them and grabbed his first one.

Logano was second, followed by Kenseth, Larson and Dale Jr.

Kenseth leads the championship with his teammate Denny Hamlin in second. All of the Joe Gibbs drivers are advancing to next round, as Suarez runs 6th and Kyle in 16th, but with one win.

BIG ONES STRIKES AT DEGA COLLECTING 10 CARS


Talladega has a numerous history of big ones. And this is just another one.

Jimmie Johnson clipped Kevin Harvick and got him around, collecting 10 cars.

The multi-car pileup collected Johnson, Kyle Busch, Kurt Busch, Harvick, Blaney, Bowyer, Bayne, Kahne, Patrick and Jones.

MATT KENSETH MAKES THE POLE WITH NEW RESTRICTOR PLATE TRACK RECORD


Matt Kenseth won the Coors light pole award after having a 48.621 lap time, the new track record since the restrictor plate was added to Superspeedways.

The championship points leader Daniel Suarez, Matt's teammate, will start 9th on Sunday.

Denny Hamlin, the last race winner, will start on 15th, after missing round 2.

The other Joe Gibbs driver Kyle Busch will start 26th, after having a wreck on Practice 1.

On the top 5, there are: Larson(2nd), Dale Jr(3rd), Harvick(4th) and Stenhouse Jr(5th).


CHASE ELLIOTT BLOWS UP IN 2nd ROYND OF QUALIFYING, TO THE REAR


Chase Elliott blows up on the qualifying and will start on the rear with Kyle Busch.

   Moments early, Chase picked a huge piece of debris on his grill, which overheated his car and blowed up.

KYLE BUSCH WRECKS IN PRACTICE, TO THE REAR IN TALLADEGA

Kyle Busch's day on the practice ended early,as Daniel Suarez, the points leader, was doing a bump and run with Kyle, but he shoved him so hard that got him twisted up against the wall.

As a result, the 18 will start in 27th at Talladega.


BLANEY RUNS OUT, HAMLIN BRINGS IT HOME

Denny Hamlin won the Bristol race after Ryan Blaney ran out of fuel and Kyle Larson got stuck on the back of the 21. Daniel Suarez made his way to a second place finish.
Suarez leads the championship as both top 2 drivers of the last race wrecked on the first lap of the race.

BRAD KESELOWSKI EARNS POLE FOR BRISTOL


Brad Keselowski, the driver of the 2 car earns pole for the Bristol 500, after almost beating the track record. Keselowski did a 14.782 seconds lap, 0.021 behind the track record, made by Denny Hamlin in 2014.

Both Penskes are on the front row for tomorrow's race, as Logano qualified in second.

The last race's winner Kyle Busch will start in fifth, behind of Truex Jr and Kyle Larson.
